One of the biggest Romano British Villas is in Fishbourne Sussex. This site was discovered in 1960 by a farmer cutting a water-main trench. There are a number of mosaics on the site as well as the remains of a villa and a rich variety of archaeological findings. Here are some of the mosaics I photographed on a visit there in 2006.

There are some mosaics in the Victorian hall of the Dorchester County Museum. These are the remains of Romans houses excavated in the town in 1905 from Dungate Sttreet. There is a central floral design and geometric patterns.
